Wife of one of the Doctors at First Consultant
Hospital in Lagos, Dr Adewale Adejoro, gave birth to an Ebola-free baby
girl on Tuesday December 1st, a month after another Ebola survivor, Dr
Ada Igonoh gave birth to a baby girl in the US. Dr Adewale was the first
doctor to have come in contact with the first case of Ebola in
Nigeria, Patrick Sawyerr.
Dr Adewale had gone into Patrick Sawyerr's
hospital room to fix a drip on him when he shook hands with the Liberian
and then contracted the deadly virus that caused an epidemic in
Nigeria last year.
